Improved source signal

Q-Seabed source vessels have an advanced digital source controller that provides a fully calibrated source signature for each shot utilizing the notional source method. This avoids variations in the signature of the airgun source from shot to shot due to gun dropouts and array movement, increasing data accuracy and consistency. Source signature deconvolution can be used to recover shots that would have been discarded due to traditional dropout criteria, thereby reducing project time. The TRISOR system also enables compensation for systematic signature variations when surveys are reacquired with a different vessel or different arrays.

ASIA array

An azimuthally invariant array (ASIA) is also available to configure the airguns to yield a response independent of the azimuth, as demonstrated in the image. This results in improved signal fidelity for multiazimuth seabed acquisition and greater operational flexibility. -Seabed system was designed for rapid deployment with minimal manual involvement and real-time positioning to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations without compromising safety or data quality.
