The Q-Seabed cable was designed for rapid reel deployment with minimal manual involvement to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations without compromising safety or data quality

The cable is fluid-filled between the sensors, improving flexibility. Steel-armored cable stiffness, specifically torque stiffness, increases with depth as the external pressure increases. The cables, however, exhibit the same bending, torque, and inline behavior in both shallow and deep water. Furthermore, the effect of the cable on the sensor housing response, and consequently data, is negligible, regardless of location, and has been proven to depths of 1500 m.
