Single-sensor record - without DGF
The single-sensor shot record on the right is from Kuwait; it shows not only the source-generated noise encountered, but also the kinds of noise present in an operating field environment, such as vehicle and facility noise. These data were acquired with a 5-m sensor spacing so that the noise is recorded unaliased.
Effective noise attenuation
The image below is the same record after the DGF process, showing the effectiveness of the noise attenuation on single-sensor, unaliased data. This is the quality of data that can go forward into the rest of the data processing sequence
