InnerLogix E&P Data Quality Management

Overview Library

The InnerLogix data quality management (DQM) solution enables geoscientists to analyze and QC seismic data, projects, and logs. By implementing the Schlumberger DQM methodology, your team can avoid manually searching for and qualifying data—and skip straight to assessment, analysis, correction, and synchronization of the data.

Modules

  • QCLogix—An automated, rule-based application that identifies data issues and changes by applying user-defined assessment rules to an area of interest.
  • QCSync—An automated, rule-based application that locates data changes or issues and automatically corrects or synchronizes through a combination of user-defined business rules and the results of QCLogix.
  • QCPro—A software bundle containing automated, rule-based applications that identify data issues; correct and synchronize data display results in GIS, chart, or spreadsheet form; and store results of all activity in a database.
  • Advanced DQM methods—A specialized, complex set of rules, available through the QCPro module, that includes features such as the wellbore digital elevation checker, deviation survey outliner method, and log curve stratigraphic range verification.
  • ILXBackOffice—A database that stores results from QCPro. It includes the rules editor and stores assessment and correction rules, job scheduling information, and a central table of contents.
  • QCAnalyst—A module that provides graphs, GIS, and reports to expose underlying data quality issues. You can view data items that failed a specific rule, and drag and drop failed data items into DataLogix for investigation and repair.
  • DataLogix—A manual quality control tool for analyzing, comparing, and correcting data. You can compare data across multiple data stores, investigate failed items from QCPro assessments, and perform advanced quality control analysis on log curves and marker picks.

Adapters

InnerLogix software provides more than 50 plug-and-play adapters for reading, inserting, and updating data from both PC and UNIX applications in common and proprietary data stores. These adapters use open-format, XML-based definitions for each data source, allowing a high degree of customization.
