The StrucView software uses dip results to model geological structures in the near-well area. With StrucView you can analyze the dip patterns to determine if the structure is a fold, normal, reverse or growth fault. StrucView allows you to fit the data to the various models to determine which structure is most appropriate using either the similar fold or parallel fold method.

To better fit to a model, you may define structural zones automatically or interactively, filter dips for continuity and have the software determine the structural axis and translation plane.
