Optimally Process Combined Seismic Data and

Data processing optimization ensures that the seismic data is in the best possible condition for inversion and integration into the reservoir characterization workflow. The Seismic Reservoir Characterization team works with WesternGeco data processing groups to meld the seismic data with the borehole data and optimally process the combined data for inversion. Through our processes, well logs and vertical seismic profiles (VSPs) become an integral part of the data processing flow, providing calibrated earth properties, enabling well-tie processing and testing inversion success.
