Refurbishments & Upgrades

• The capacity of existing older design hydrocyclone systems can be increased by up to 80% while improving separation performance by up to 50% by implementing a CYCLOTECH B20 Series Deoiling Hydrocyclone retrofit. This can be done without the addition of extra hydrocyclone vessels and in most cases, any hot work or any modification to the existing vessels pipe work or valving. 
• The CYCLOTECH B20 Series liner can be adapted to retrofit existing third party hydrocyclone vessel designs.  This implies that a liner retrofit offers cost, delivery, production down time and integration benefits when compared to a replacement Produced Water Treatment system. M-I SWACO can retrofit the CYCLOTECH MC Series desanding hydrocyclone liners into third party desanding systems to again increase both the vessel capacity and the separation performance.
• M-I SWACO can retrofit standard 5k psi or 10k psi solids filter pots with CYCLOTECH WDC Series wellhead desanding cyclone inserts to increase the separation performance and availability. It also removes the need to disassemble the unit to remove the solids and eliminates converting a duty / standby system to a 2 x 100% system.
• M-I SWACO can retrofit new or upgrade existing conventional or Swirling Flow type production separator sand jetting systems with our advanced CYCLOTECH SCARPA sand jetting system.  Installation of a SCARPA sand jetting system will avoid separator upset during jetting, increase the proportion of the sand removed to over 90%, control the sand concentration in the downstream transfer pipe work and minimize the amount of internal jetting infrastructure required with the separator, thereby minimizing flow disturbance.
• All options available with upgraded wear resistance materials for extended operation in erosive environments.
