Product for reducing drag in pipeline flow with no product alteration

The NECADD 447 flow-improver additive reduces drag by as much as 70% without altering your product in any way.

The NECADD 447 high-molecular weight polymer reduces the energy lost in the pipeline flow by suppressing the turbulence at the pipe-wall boundary layer that gives rise to drag and inefficient flow. It allows high-energy fluids to flow more directionally, significantly increasing pipeline capacity, compared with the energy lost in fluids not treated with the flow-improver additive (FIA).

Before it can start to work, the NECADD 447 FIA must be dissolved in the flowing fluid within the pipe. The FIA is added at very low parts per million (ppm) dosage rates.

The FIA does not coat the pipe wall, but rather stays within the flowing fluid. Performance varies with physical pipeline characteristics, flow dynamics and fluid properties.
