Oil and water-free system takes bite out of hydrates

The all-oil and water-free TRUDRIL synthetic drilling fluid system is an ideal option for low-density applications. TRUDRIL is insensitive to gas hydrates, while its inherent lubricity, borehole stability, enhanced hole cleaning and low ECDs make it well-suited as an alternative to conventional invert emulsion systems.

TRUDRIL is easily engineered system that produces high ROP, in-gauge wellbores, minimal formation damage and low circulating pressure requirements. All of these features combine to lower drilling costs.
