Glycol shale stability additive
INHIBYCOL XT glycol additive is designed with a wide-molecular-weight range for use in medium-to-low salinity polyglycol systems. It improves shale stability, lubricity, and high-temperature filtration control, while reducing dilution rates and bit balling. INHIBYCOL XT additive is recommended for freshwater to seawater polyglycol systems. While polyglycols are most effective when used in conjunction with an inhibitive salt in nondispersed polymer systems, they can be used as additives in most water-base systems.
