Biopolymer water-based mud
SUPRAVIS is a unique high‐performance biopolymer used to provide maximum hole‐cleaning and suspension properties in all water‐base drilling fluid systems. SUPRAVIS was developed as a rheology modifier to generate elevated, flat rheological properties at temperatures ranging from 70°F (21°C) to more than 250°F (121°C). This feature ensures that hole cleaning is not affected by the thinning of the fluid at bottomhole conditions. Small quantities provide viscosity and weight material suspension for all water‐base systems. SUPRAVIS additive has the unique ability to produce a fluid that is highly shear‐thinning and thixotropic.
