TARCLEAN is a powerful solvent used for removing tar and heavy oil from shaker screens, flow lines, mud tanks and other oil‐field equipment. From an HSE perspective, it has the odor of an orange, making it more pleasant to use than many alternatives. The TARACLEAN anticrete additive is used primarily in polymer drilling fluids.
