Low‐molecular‐weight, cationic inhibitor
KLA-FLOC II is a very low‐molecular‐weight, cationic flocculant for non-dispersed water-based drilling fluids. KLAFLOC II cationic coagulant polymer promotes drill cuttings settling and inhibits clay dispersion. KLAFLOC II can enhance filtration and lubricity properties with minimum increase of viscosity. KLAFLOC II provides superior coagulation and performance in “clear‐water” drilling, where the settling of drill solids is required. In air/mist drilling, it also minimizes hole washouts and prevents bit balling.
