Cross-linking activator for FORM‐A‐SET AK, FORM‐A‐SET AKX
FORM‐A‐SET XL cross linker is the activator for the FORM‐A‐SET AK and FORM‐A‐SET AKX systems. The activator is added when lost returns, high‐pressure zones or unconsolidated zones have been encountered.
When lost returns, high‐pressure zones or unconsolidated zones have been encountered, the activator should be added to the FORM‐A‐SET slurry just prior to pumping.
FORM‐A‐SET RET retarder is designed to delay the setting time where high downhole temperatures and extended mixing and pumping times will prematurely crosslink the polymer.
