FORM‐A‐SET RET retarder is applied when a FORM‐A‐SET system is used in higher bottomhole temperatures and longer pumping times. FORM‐A‐SET RET retarder is available for use in the FORM‐A‐SET AK and FORM‐A‐SET AKX systems.
FORM‐A‐SET RET is designed to delay the setting time where high downhole temperatures and extended mixing and pumping times will prematurely crosslink the polymer.
