Accelerator for FORM-A-SET LCM

FORM‐A‐SET ACC is a blend of inorganic compounds that help control the setting times of the FORM‐A‐SET AK (FAS AK) slurry. FORM‐A‐SET ACC accelerator is engineered for lower temperature applications, where the lower temperatures slow the cross‐linking process.

Additions of FORM‐A‐SET ACC to an FAS AK slurry should be considered when the temperature of application is less than 60°F (16°C). The accelerator will create a chemical reaction with the FORM‐A‐SET AK slurry to form a rigid cross‐linked gel structure. It is therefore important to carefully control the product concentrations and mixing conditions in order to ensure that the reaction proceeds as expected.
