VERSALIG amine‐treated lignite is a filtration‐control additive designed for use in all oil‐base systems, as well as synthetic‐base systems. It is an effective alternative to asphalt or gilsonite in areas where their use is undesirable. VERSALIG additive is effective and applicable in all oil‐ and synthetic‐base drilling fluids, and is compatible with other additives.
