Ground marble bridging agent
A ground marble comprising high-purity and acid-soluble calcium carbonate used as a bridging and weighting agent in drilling, reservoir drilling and workover/completion fluids. It is preferred over limestone as it generally is more pure with higher hardness. High-purity provides better acid-solubility and high hardness provides a greater resistance to particle size degradation.
