RESINEX
Resinated lignite filtration control agent
RESINEX resinated lignite is designed to provide filtration control over a wide range of temperatures and in the presence of contaminants. RESINEX is a temperature-stable, synthetically formulated resin and lignite complex which has proven to be one of the most effective high-temperature filtration-control additives available.
RESINEX is a broad-application fluid loss-control agent that can be used in virtually any water-base mud. In field applications, excellent results have been obtained in freshwater,brackish water, seawater, saltwater, lime, gyp, lignosulfonate, polymer and non-dispersed systems. It also stabilizes and extends the temperature limitations and contamination resistance of water-base mud systems to above 400°F (204°C). It is notably effective in high-density muds where fluid-loss control can be achieved without increases in viscosity.
The product is designed to have a minimal effect on the viscosity of most mud systems;
however, RESINEX may reduce the viscosity of non-dispersed systems.
