Defoamer for aphron drilling fluids

Designed specifically to be used in a new concept for treating potential foaming problems in aphron-containing water-base fluids.  PASSIVATOR I defoamer is unique in that it has the ability to treat surface foams in an aphron-base fluid without removing the aphrons.

While primarily considered a defoamer, PASSIVATOR I will act as an anti-foamer under certain conditions. PASSIVATOR I defoamer was designed to use specifically with aphron-base drilling fluids when and if there is a need for foam elimination. PASSIVATOR I defoamer is most effectively applied by spraying the neat product as a fine mist directly on the foam on the fluid surface. It can also be diluted with a hydrocarbon oil, mineral oil or synthetic oil and either sprayed directly on the foam on the fluid surface or added with a chemical pump directly to the fluid.
