Our consulting services guide you in efficiently analyzing the enhanced oil recovery (EOR) potential of each area of the reservoir, and support selecting the most suitable EOR technique. The service consists of three main modules.

• Data validation - The quality of log, core, fluid, and other available data is checked to ensure consistency with the EOR evaluation standards. Oil displacement in the reservoir is dominated by the balance of capillary, gravity, and viscous forces. A successful screening requires a detailed understanding of these forces and the interaction of the injectant with the rock and reservoir fluids. Available data is analyzed for completeness and steps are taken to obtain missing information.

• Analytical screening - Reservoirs with rock and fluid properties similar to the ones under study are used in EOR method selection, which—combined with the reservoir architecture analysis and analytical simulations—provides a robust basis on which to rank the most viable EOR methods for maximizing conformance.

• Production forecasting - Representative sector models are used to quantify the benefit of a given displacement process.
