This remote management includes control of most operations for directional drilling (DD), MWD, and LWD. The minimum requirements for remote operations management are
- dedicated phone line
- dedicated 256-kb/s bandwidth
- dedicated static internet protocol (IP) address
- remote access permission from your wellsite IT staff if your network infrastructure will be used
- ties to wellsite telecommunications systems beneficial to remote support.
