Designing the optimal drilling system with the appropriate technology to do the job and processing real-time drilling data through advanced drilling software applications helps maximize ROP, reduce risk, eliminate nonproductive time, and reach TD faster while reducing overall drilling cost. The team uses DOX, a powerful software tool, to design and execute drilling workflows including drillstring dynamics modeling. This information then feeds into PERFORM Toolkit software, which is run in the OSC to help optimize drilling operations by gathering and analyzing both static and real-time drilling data during execution and postdrilling. Remote expert services available through the OSC network include drilling optimization, real-time drilling geomechanics, geosteering, and remote operations.
