BIGORANGE XVIII Stimulation Vessel

Robust, Reliable Stimulation Vessel

The BIGORANGE XVIII stimulation vessel is built for well stimulation in the North Sea. This vessel executes everything from small matrix treatments to large hydraulic fracturing operations. Features include superior handling and control, high stability, and an air monitoring and conditioning system.

Stimulation capability

Blending, pumping and storage systems make this vessel reliable and efficient, facilitating complex stimulation treatments. All phases of stimulation are remotely controlled and monitored for quality control. Treatments are performed via flexible treating lines featuring a "quick disconnect" coupling for safe and expedient withdrawal in emergencies.

Treating lines

Individually prepared plans meet specific treatment requirements. All lines undergo annual testing and certification before dispatch, ensuring safety and redundancy. Wellhead pressure limits are maintained, and each main treating line can be isolated. Pressure transducers relay information to the control room and then to the rig to fully inform all personnel of progress.

Wellhead hookup

Final connections are made through tested and certified headers. A comprehensive range of parts are on board to meet special manufacturing requirements. Pressure transducers at wellhead and annulus control automatic overpressure shutdown systems for treating pumps.
