FloWatcher Sapphire

Vibration, ESP power-line crosstalk, and motor heat dissipation are all major influences on the reliability of ESP monitoring systems. The FloWatcher Sapphire system was designed and engineered to directly address these problems.

The graph shows FloWatcher Sapphire data from an ESP-pumped well. The general trend is decreasing pump intake and discharge pressures and decreasing flow rate. However, pressures suddenly start to build up along with a corresponding increase in flow rate. Since the mixture density remained constant, the well is obviously flowing better than before, indicating a change in the near-wellbore area.
