Rapid Data Processing and Visualization
Rapid petrophysical answers to improve completion decisions
DecisionXpress petrophysical evaluation service integrates data from the Platform Express and ECS elemental capture spectroscopy tools in a unique interpretation software program. The PC-based application provides rapid data visualization and reprocessing capabilities at the wellsite or in the client office, and delivers a robust petrophysical evaluation with minimal user inputs in sand/shale reservoirs. Applications include planning coring and sampling operations, completion strategies, decisions for casing, drilling ahead, or sidetracking, and the design of completion strategies.
DecisionXpress petrophysical evaluation system helps you improve production, reduce costs and minimize risk through better, in-time decision making. This is a new, nearly automatic system for processing data from modern spectroscopy and conventional logging tools.
Get highly integrated, quality-controlled petrophysical evaluation within minutes after logging. You can be at the wellsite or anywhere in the world using secure, Web-based access through InterACT connectivity, collaboration, and information services.
Unlike conventional products that must be adapted to specific environments, DecisionXpress technology gives you accurate and reliable results in most siliciclastic reservoirs.
Better log interpretation
You can eliminate subjectivity in conventional log interpretation by using accurate and consistent evaluation results. Fundamental to this solution are the mineralogy and matrix properties derived from the ECS elemental capture spectroscopy sonde and SpectroLith processing.
At each depth level, the processing flows linearly, starting with the mineralogy and matrix properties and proceeding through the computation of matrix-corrected porosity, permeability, and fluid saturations. The entire computation is performed quickly, following the completion of data acquisition. Usually, the computation requires that you select just one parameter—formation water salinity. The results give you all the log-derived inputs you need for completion decisions, pressure and fluid sampling, and sidewall core sample planning.
