The FlexPac packer is a fullbore, cased hole, retrievable compression-set packer designed for testing and tubing-conveyed perforating operations. The packer is designed to withstand high flow rates, elevated temperatures, and high pressures when the appropriate slackoff weight has been applied to the packer. The sealing elements effectively isolate annulus fluids from the perforated interval.
FlexPac Packer Hydraulic Hold-Down
The hydraulic hold-down complements the FlexPac retrievable packer. It prevents the string from moving uphole as a result of hydraulic forces acting below the packer during stimulation or when a firing head is being activated. The slip design is similar to that of the proven hold-down section of the PosiTrieve retrievable downhole packer.
