Dammam International Airport (IATA-DMM) or King Fahd International Airport (KFIA), located 50 kilometers northwest of Dammam (45 min. to 1 hour by car from Al-Khobar)
Bahrain International Airport (IATA-BAH): Although Bahrain is another country, double-check with your travel agent and consider this option as well. Most airlines have free land transport service from Bahrain to Al-Khobar.

You should have the following items with you before you travel to Saudi Arabia:

Passport with valid Saudi visa
Photocopy of passport ID and visa pages
A copy of the Saudi Contacts List or a few telephone numbers
A map of Al-Khobar
A taxi booking confirmation
Credit cards and at least USD 100 (Many ATMs accept credit cards and cash point/ATM cards that have the Maestro/Cirrus logo.)
